Millners Wharf

Milliners Wharf is part of the residential plan of an ambitious project which will convert the redundant mill site into flats, shops and offices with access to the Metrolink network.

The residential quarter possesses a free flowing atmosphere complemented by airy and spacious interiors. The development is adjacent to the Ashton Canal giving the apartments views over the water.

Working alongside Conran and Partners, the key interior designer, Milliners Wharf adopted a contemporary blend of exposed brick with a glazed and rendered façade.

This creates an iconic landmark that sits well with the other listed and historical buildings in the area.

The final solution was as a result of careful liaison and cooperation between Ocon, City Lofts and Conran where efficiencies in buildability and value engineering were achieved without compromising the finished quality.
