NO TIME TO SNOOZE AT SLEEP EVENT FOR OCON
Europe’s leading exhibition for hotel owners, operators, investors, developers, designers, architects, contractors and consultants, The Sleep Event takes place annually at London’s Business Design Centre and has become a must-attend event for anyone involved in creating innovative hotel environments.ᅠ The Sleepotel is a brand new, centrepiece concept for this year's Sleep Event, bringing together some of the world's most respected hotel architects and interior designers to present their ideas in a live hotel environment.
Explains Chris Snow, business development manager at Ocon Construction, "Everyone involved in the hotel industry attends The Sleep Event to spot the latest trends and showcase their capabilities.ᅠ The event includes a conference and a prestigious awards ceremony as well as the main exhibition but, this year, the Sleepotel will definitely be the highlight as it will see the best in the world working together to create a hotel environment that unveils the trends of the future."
The Sleepotel will include a hotel entrance designed by Lisbon-based interior architecture and design firm Atelier Nini Andrade Silva, a spa and gym designed by Spa Vision and a bar designed by London-based design firm, Blacksheep. Designers for the bedrooms/suites will include renowned firms Studio Arcibella, JOI-Design, Shaun Clarkson and Tisettanta Contract.
In addition to its involvement with the Sleepotel as official bedroom contractor, Ocon is also responsible for constructing the JOI-Design and Shaun Clarkson stands at the exhibition.
Chris continues: "It is a great compliment to have been trusted to build the stands of two such prestigious names within the hospitality sector.ᅠ Our involvement with these big name exhibitors and the Sleepotel concept demonstrate that Ocon is working at the very highest level in this sector and our willingness to embrace new trends in construction along with our track record of delivering quality projects on time and to budget will ensure that we continue to lead the field."
