He is a keen advocate of innovation by implementing modern methods and designs to meet clients’ requirements in delivering buildings of the highest quality, safely, on time and within budget. He promotes relationships forged upon a professional and ethical approach.
Rob Bratt, Commercial Director
Rob’s experience of working commercially within the industry for over 25 years leads to the business having exceptional understanding of responsibility and performance. Rob has an inquisitive mind and keen eye for detail and inspires success within our highly motivated and dedicated team. Fulfilling an integral role in Ocon’s development, Rob takes great pride in its achievements.
Martin Foster, Finance Director
Being a chartered accountant for over 10 years, Martin has matured professionally beyond his years. In this key role he manages all the financial affairs of the company. The financial team recognises and is committed the need to integrate with all other aspects of the business and maintain excellent relations with our supply chain. Martin promotes a culture of strong controls, reporting and communication.
Rob Greaves, Development Director
Formerly Opal Property Group’s Senior Acquisition Manager, Rob has been with the Group since 1998. Bringing both development expertise and funding networks to Ocon, Rob will assist the company in generating development and joint venture opportunities to sit alongside its continuing contracting work.
Nick Williamson Corbett, Business Development Manager
A qualified civil engineer and a business development management professional with more than 20 years’ cross-sector experience, Nick has an enviable track record across a wide range of sectors. His career also includes business development and project management roles for developers, architectural practices and major construction companies. His experience includes key account management, bid management and funding solutions for clients.
Ian Welford, Estimating Manager
Leading our Estimating team Ian is an enthusiastic and dynamic individual, who has a passion for the construction industry. His forethought and vision ensure that the company is able to prepare competitive tenders of the highest quality.
Dave Ledwidge, Operations Manager
Responsible for the overall management of the majority of projects, Dave’s extensive construction knowledge and people management skills are utilised to the full. A true leader, he inspires and motivates all his site teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget.
Gary Symons, Building Services Manager
Gary brings to Ocon thirty-three years of experience. He has considerable knowledge of all aspects of M&E Services having worked his way up the ladder from the tools to delivering large projects.
Steve Jerams, Construction Manager
Overseeing a higher value project, Steve’s ability to communicate ensures that client liaison is top of the agenda. Steve is involved from pre tender stage, so that he is able to maximise his full knowledge of the project from site commencement.
Nigel Athorn, Commercial Manager
Reporting into the Commercial Director, Nigel oversees the commercial teams on a selection of sites, disseminating his wealth of knowledge to all staff. His ability to multitask whilst maintaining a focus on the end result of each project, means that commercial success is a certainty.
