Sutton Bonington Phase II
Following the successful construction and letting of Phase 1 in August 2006, the next phase of development at Sutton Bonington saw the construction of a 198- bedroom student accommodation scheme. It consisted of tutor flats, studios and deluxe en-suite bedrooms, providing students with high-quality accommodation.
Following on from lessons learnt in the earlier build the development utilised the same timber frame main structure and included some of todayメs modern methods of pre- construction including the use of bathroom pods.
The elevations consisted of retention of cedar boarding as a cladding material and featured the use of zinc look-alike panels. Traditional masonry made up the rest of the elevational treatment.
